Gawan (Giridih): On the occasion of World Environment Day, the NGO Aman Ekta Samaj Committee conducted a cleanliness and tree plantation drive in Pihra Purvi Panchayat. Years of accumulated garbage were cleaned from public spaces in the panchayat. Shady and fragrant saplings were also planted to make the environment green and lively.

Dozens of volunteers participated in the event along with Secretary Md. Shamshad, the President, and the Treasurer. Secretary Shamshad appealed to the villagers to maintain cleanliness and protect trees, stating that protecting the environment is the responsibility of every citizen. The organization delivered a message to safeguard water, forests, ponds, and public places. The campaign served as an inspiring initiative for environmental awareness.
